10 September, First Methodist Church
Attending: Brigida, Berndt, Rune, Juliana, Stasi, Sifrid, Sofya, Gobban, Gwyn, Brighid
Chatelaine: no new demos
Herald: Brigida’s heraldic title is now at Laurel.
Web Minister: we have a webpage. The deputy keeps forgetting to transfer hillian.org to a different ISP to make the shire emails.
Chronicler: needs a few more submissions to put together an issue
Arts & Sciences: got the RUSH paperwork for the event classes figured out and submitted, and got to Raid or Trade to make the auction exchange for the $100 bracers. Next meeting is button bookmarks if we can get to them. Sofya’s dacha won’t be available for Project Day on the 27th, so Rune offers the church as a substitute but too many people will be out of town.
Exchequer: we have money. They accepted the replacement NMR check (that their cat peed on originally). She got the event report submitted in a timely manner. We made about $300. The silent auction brought in $250. We vote to round up the donation to the American Cancer Society to $300 so we don’t have to worry about working in the $$ from the “camp kitchen” that Brighid is going to put on a on-line auction.
Archery: we have bows. We have arrows. Juliana is spreading the joy of plumbatas, and will be putting on an intro class at Chilies.
Inn: we need fresh dessicants and sealing tape for the totes or… Juliana (and Gida) note trouble storing the dozen totes between inn and feast, a collapsing shed, etc. so she wonders about renting a storage space. The old Sears building is $84 for a 5×10 storage space, climate controlled. Nora Springs is $60 for a vehicle-size spot (not climate controlled). We can use the Park House basement if needed.
Seneschal: she got the event sign-in sheets submitted in a timely manner. She heard no complaints from the Grafton site. She will tentatively reserve our weekend with them for next year, until we hear back from the Event Bid for Kingdom A&S that she will submit later this month.
